And just as I head to bed I catch wind of this sad news, announced on Pete Way’s own facebook. The legendary, influential and much-loved bassist has ed away aged only 69. It seems he was involved in an accident some weeks ago, and the injuries he sustained finally got the better of him.
Way is best known as a founder member of UFO, but he was also a member of Michael Schenker Group and toured with Ozzy Osbourne. He kept good company!
