Diabolical Evil is a speed metal band from northeast Brazil formed in the second half of 2020. They also have one of the best names we’ve ever heard for a band! All the lyrics and melodies are composed by its only member, Rodrigo “Infërnäl Ridër”, and drums produced by Gustavo Henrique (also responsible for the production of all band’s recordings).
The band plays speed/thrash metal dressed with black metal influences. Their influences range from NWOBHM and classic heavy metal to 90s black metal. The band describe themselves as “Diabolical fire and evil spells in the night of eternal black magic!”
In 2021, the band got two releases out: Evil Command (Demo) in January, and Black Magic Force (EP) in August. In between the above two, the single “Cursed By Blood” was released. Vicious Witch Records look after Diabolical Evil’s music, and together they have just released a 7-inch vinyl version of “Cursed by Blood” backed with the never-before-heard track “Valley of the Damned”.
