Draconicon announce symphonic version of “Dark Side Of Magic”

Italian power metal band Draconicon will release Dark Side of Symphony, an orchestral version of their debut album Dark Side of Magic on April 22nd via Beyond the Storm Productions. The album will be available on all digital platforms.

Simon Borgen (violinist) comments on the orchestral album:

Dark Side of Symphony is a not-big-enough gift to fans for the incredible appreciation we received for our debut album. We really hope they will enjoy another perspective on our music, that perspective which represents the completion of the creative process in Draconicon songwriting.

The Draconicon debut album Dark Side of Magic was released in October last year and got great from around the world. The legendary Japanese metal magazine Burrn! awarded the album with a great 87/100 review.

The band’s live debut will take place in Bologna, Italy on May 1st at the “Rebirth of Power Festival”, ing Rhapsody of Fire.

The sound of the Draconicon is European-style power metal, inspired by the great masters of the genre with influences ranging from extreme metal to classical music, resulting in a unique timbre that will bring the listener into the dark world of Draconicon.
