Unstoppable Northern metallers Kilonova (who we’ve been following for years) return with an explosive new EP, Moment of Clarity, out everywhere on Friday 5th May. The EP is backed by a blistering new single and video, “Fragments”, which arrives on Friday 3rd March.
much-praised debut EP, Omnicide, which notched up significant acclaim from Kerrang! as well as many others. The unbridled quartet toured throughout the UK in of the EP, and soon established themselves as a growing force aided by a sweeping reputation for rapid riffs and rousing live performances.
Kilonova continued their climb with the release of their stand-alone single, Immortal, and then, in the midst of the pandemic, the band retreated to rehearse and craft their next record, Moment Of Clarity.
After nearly two years in the making, Kilonova return with a revitalised sound and new-found vibrant intensity. Moment of Clarity is the band’s most personal and truly vicious music to date. Bassist, Joe Bambrick comments about the EP: “‘Moment of Clarity’ is our mission statement. We’ve captured that lightning in a bottle of a Kilonova show. This is the sound that has always been in our heads. This is Kilonova”.
Now with live music soaring again, the band have a raft of energetic shows planned for the rest of the year and a number of festival appearances arranged for the Summer; check their socials for announcements. There is nothing stopping Kilonova’s continued rise.
