To celebrate the tenth anniversary of the release of Permission to Land, Lowestoft’s finest (only?) export will be touring extensively around the UK. And they mean “the UK”. And Proper Ireland as well.
This isn’t a case of “London and Manchester should do it – oh and let’s play Bristol. Bristol’s in Wales, right?” fuckup like so many bands seem to think is adequate. This is 25 dates of town-hopping around out fair isles.
Hell, at first glance I was prepared to swear at them for not playing Scotland as I’d scanned for Glasgow or Edinburgh. They’re playing neither – instead Scots can catch them in Inverness and Kilmarnock!
They’ll be playing the album in full each night (I don’t know if it’ll be in a “one-r” as The Wildhearts did with Earth Vs… this year or not) as well as some other stuff from the albums that nobody bought.
