The Moshville Times - SausageFest – Glasgow Garage 21st-23rd August 2015

For those heading back from (you lucky bastards) or those who prefer something a little more… indoorsy (and cheaper), I would like to draw your attention to the SausageFest which is being held at the Garage in Glasgow from August 21st to 23rd.

I find it quite amusing that LesFest has changed name to Wildfire due to the schoolboy humour in their original name while SausageFest has deliberately gone with the obvious dirty joke!

First and foremost this is a charity event, raising money for Cancer Research UK. Moshville Times completely backs this cause (in fact, Mrs Moshville Times and our eldest daughter are doing a “mud run” for this very cause on Saturday 20th June – please feel free to donate!) and they’ve put together a bloody killer line-up this year. Tickets are a staggeringly cheap £16 per day or £45 for the whole three days (plus fees, etc.) and available from See Tickets.

The full bills for the Friday and Saturday have been revealed, as well as some great acts on the Sunday. Moshville Times hopes to be covering a fair bit of this event, time allowing (it’s right as the school term kicks back into gear!) and we hope to see you lot packing the place out for three days. The lists below are “headliner down” – we should have actual performance times for you nearer the date.

Alongside the aforementioned Wildfire Festival, which hits Wiston Lodge in a couple of weeks, Glasgow is well served in of brilliant value festivals this year.
