Just a heads up about a decent night out for you on Friday 11th September if you’re around the Glasgow area. The Bill (the Police cover band who opened for Tragedy a few months back) are opening for 2U at the Ferry (25 Anderston Quay, Glasgow G3 8BX) on Friday.
I can vouch for The Bill as being a good bunch of guys who put on a very impressive set, with good humour and a nice selection of classic tracks.
Headlining will be 2U (formerly known as Joshua U2), who were chosen by official tour operator ETS to perform at promotional events during U2’s Vertigo Tour 2005. And once you’ve witnessed the power, energy and excitement of a 2U gig, you’ll understand why.
2U perform regularly throughout the UK, Ireland and Europe and are united in a mission to be the best tribute band for “the greatest band in the world” – U2.
In addition to performing the complete range of U2 music from ‘Boy’ to ‘How to Dismantle an Atomic Bomb’, 2U do everything in their power to recreate the live U2 experience for their audiences.
