Old Corpse Road hail from the bitter northern counties of England and expertly weave tales from British legend with their take on symphonic black metal. Having played shows with some of the best bands on the scene, Old Corpse Road are a treat for those who witness their druidic rituals live.
Winter Storm might look like a typical run of the mill “female-fronted” band but their arsenal of crepuscular medleys and misty vocals prove that they’re a band that can play with the big names of metal. Speaking of the big names of metal, they recently ed Leaves’ Eyes, making them a band to watch out for.
And Reign of Sirius have the honour of opening up the Midnight Waltz stage. Having being well received at the first Northern Symphony, RoS were an obvious choice for Northern Symphony 2016 and with their recent shows with Alwaid and Leaves’ Eyes plus two albums under their belt, Reign of Sirius are a must-see band!
Northern Symphony Festival will take place on Saturday 16th April 2016 at The Venue in Selby, which will now host both stages. Early bird tickets are still available until 00:00 on 15th November for only £10 from http://northernwyntermusic.bigcartel.com.
After 00:00 on 15th November, tickets will be priced at the full rate of £15.
With the Midnight Waltz stage line-up finalised, only the Infernal Orchestra stage line-up remains to be confirmed. Northern Symphony Festival 2016 will also be Theatres Des Vampires first UK show in five years.
