I’m just going to copy and paste Dave’s word because… well because he couldn’t put it better and he covers all the bases! But this is looking like – once again – being a hell of a great weekend!

It’s the worst kept secret in the history of Wildfire Festival but undoubtedly one of our better decisions. Lining up alongside Wildfire’s exclusive UK performance by Tim ‘Ripper’ Owens on Friday 24th June and New York heavy metal/speed metal legends Riot on Sunday 26th June are fast-rising hard rockers Inglorious.

Causing an almighty stir amongst the UK rock faithful, Inglorious are a band set for a meteoric rise and proves that we are just as hell-bent on giving prestigious slots to the cream of the new breed as we to the experienced and renowned acts. Having just completed a highly successful UK tour, this is your chance to witness the new saviours of rock ‘n’ roll before they go stratospheric!

We are also ed by the mighty NG26, led by current Cradle Of Filth guitarist Rich Shaw. They bring their melodic, shred-heavy, progressive metal to the stage while those whose tastes lean to the diabolically heavy have the mighty Divine Chaos to satiate their appetite.

We are also stoked to announce Northern Ireland’s heavy rock outfit Baleful Creed, the head-turning Scottish band Mason Hill and South Wale’s based Fireroad returning to Wildfire with their tumultuous bluesy riffs and awesome grooves.

Psycho punk ‘n’ rollers The Dukes of Bordello will bring their almighty stage presence – including that double bass – when their Motörhead meets The Supersuckers sound ups the fun factor. ing them are the outrageous A Joker’s Rage, whose melodic alt-rock, punk-pop anthems will keep that smile stitched manically to your face! They are bringing the party on Friday night.

Rounding off the latest announcements are yet more hard-rocking riff wranglers in the shape of Black Nevada, the dirty-rock of Rusted Hero and the stoner-blues grooves of top notch power trio Cairo Sun.

With the three day event featuring the cream of cult New Wave Of British Heavy Metal bands, bruising thrash and death metal beasts from the UK and beyond, a multitude of acts that cover the gamut of hard rock/alt rock and headliners that represent the past, the present and the future of hard rock/heavy metal, Wildfire Festival is the grassroots festival to attend in 2016! Tickets are genuinely flying now, so we urge you to move fast. They’re on sale from the website.
