Hawkwind is known for the extreme approach they took to music, to their lives and to recreational substances. That they are not only releasing a new album (The Machine Stops) on the 15th of April but touring as well, is an achievement. More than that, it is astonishing! They define psychedelic space rock and, with founder member, Dave Brock (74 years young), still very much at the heart of things, the band (Richard Chadwick, Mr Dibs, Tim Blake, Niall Hone and Dead Fred) promise a live performance that is a: “…not to be missed psychedelic extravaganza delivered with a glittering array of projections, dance, theatricals and special effects…”
