Northern Symphony Fest 2017 – first band announcement

Northern Symphony Festival 2017 Dakesis First PosterYes, it’s eleven months away but there’s no harm in jumping in early to get the excitement building! Northern Symphony Festival, which takes place in Selby, Yorkshire, have announced the first co-headliner for next year’s event: Birmingham’s Dakesis.

Dakesis were formed in 2008 and released their most recent album, The New Dawn, in March of this year. They’re no strangers to touring, or to festival stages (they played Valkyrian in November of last year), and I’m sure they’ll be able bill-toppers for Northern Symphony.

The Venue in Selby will host the event as always, this time on April 15th 2017. Early bird tickets are only £4 – FOUR POUNDS! – and can be purchased from the festival’s online shop or skiddle.com.
