As we mentioned recently, Shadow Sound in Glasgow is hosting a “Pre-Apocalypse” party on May 28th to raise funds for a refurb of the venue. It’s a little place which came to our attention within the last year and some very notable up-and-comers have played there, but there is always room for improvement. This is a great way to help pay for that.
The official facebook event page is worth checking for more details, but the full line-up was announced this evening. The all-day event is split into three sections:
- Alternative: 2pm – 4pm
- Thrash 5pm – 7pm
- Metal: 8pm – 10pm
And the bands spread over those times are:

- The Nebulosity
- Archives
- Heavy Plant Movement
- The Elephant Men
- Heart Stalk Lunatics
- Liberum
- Ophelia
- Philodox
Shadow Sound is BYOB so feel free to make it a party, not just an extended gig! Tickets are available in advance (£7) or you can pay on the door (£9).
