If you like your music more punky and anti-establishment then Rebellion looks like where you should be heading. Celebrating its 20th anniversary, they’ve added Angelic Upstarts to the bill as well as serving up a timetable of rebellious deliciousness!
Rebellion isn’t just about watching bands. This year the festival is offering live interviews, Q&A sessions and film screenings on the Opera House Stage, featuring Jello Biafra, Brix Smith, Peter Hook, The Outcasts, Cass Pennant, Slaughter & The Dogs and more.
The event takes place across the 4th – 7th of August at Blackpool Winter Gardens and you can get further details / tickets from www.rebellionfestivals.com.
I’m not going to reproduce the schedule here – it’s enormous, there are so many bands on! Instead, follow this link to the right place on their site and fire up your freshly-filled printer…
