Well, this caught us on the hop. The Big Announcement for next year’s Bloodstock was supposed to be on the Radio 1 Rock Show tonight with Bloodstock themselves following up tomorrow. The organisers have only gone and dropped the list a day early!
So… here it is… and bloody hell, it’s a great line-up already especially for those (like myself) who may have missed a recent tour or two.
Amon Amarth are headlining the Friday, which we already knew courtesy of our just-published-because-it-was-held-waiting-for-this-announcement interview with Ted. Special guests on the same evening, and making their only UK appearance of the year, are Blind Guardian.
Also featuring on the main Ronnie James Dio stage over the weekend – days not confirmed as yet – are:
