Irish pop rock act Susie Blue play Camden’s Dublin Castle on St.Patrick’s Day

Taking things to the lighter end of the rock spectrum, Irish pop rock act Susie Blue has released a new single “Be A Lady” ahead of their live shows in London this week.

With social equality and acceptance playing a key role in their music, creative mastermind and lead singer Susan Donaghy explains:

“Be A Lady” is a song that I wanted to write to tell myself and anyone who wants to listen that it’s okay to be “different” and stereotypes about gender aren’t a thing anymore in 2017

It follows the previously released single “People Like Us” which focused on intolerance and hatred in society, particularly in the form of homophobia.

The catchy indie pop sound, alongside Susan’s hauntingly distinctive vocals, has been turning heads across Ireland where Susie Blue are making their mark on the live scene. They completed their first Irish headline tour last year and in 2017 ed the likes of The Strypes, Glen Hansard and SOAK.

Susie Blue now bring their strong spirit and captivating live performance to the UK for a very special St. Patrick’s Day show at Camden’s Dublin Castle this Friday followed by a date at Clapham’s Bread & Roses the following night.

March live dates:

  • 17th – Camden, The Dublin Castle
  • 18th – Clapham, Bread And Roses
  • 24th – Dublin, The Grand Central
