It seems every now and then, we get a glut of festival announcements and Troon’s Winter Storm are the latest to share their latest additions. With the bulk of the line-up being announced at the start of last month at their launch event, today, they’ve added a handful of acts to the main stage and detailed much of the bands to feature on the Jägermeister Rising Talent & Acoustic Stage.
Main stage additions:
- Carousel Vertigo
- Eden’s Curse
- Trucker Diablo
- The New Roses
Jägermeister Rising Talent & Acoustic Stage:
- Rising Souls
- Mandulu & Hephzibah
- Black King Cobra
- Til Death Us Do Part
- Twin Heart
- The Brink
- Systeria
- Redwood Ridge
- Departed
- Concrete Kingdoms
- Resin
There’s more to be announced for both stages with the festival promising a couple of main stage slots yet to be filled alongside the winner of this year’s Storm Breakers event. As well as this, there’s the mysterious After the ‘Storm. Whilst this was to be announced today, it has been delayed, citing “international time differences” – whether that’s a clue or not, your guess is as good as ours!
Lastly, as soon as tickets went on sale last month alongside the initial announcement, people weren’t slow in buying them with a massive demand for them. But it’s best coming directly from them:
By the beginning of March we had already exceeded the total for 2017 and the sales have continued to grow since then. We have therefore now added the final two hundred tickets to the system – a mix of weekend and day tickets. Once these have gone that is it totally sold out.
With a slew of different ticket packages such as day tickets, weekend tickets and accommodation options, there’s an option for everyone. Sadly, the Direct Debit scheme has closed for this year so the chance to spread the cost across the months won’t be there and going by the first wave of tickets, these last ones won’t be around for long.
