Party in the Pews 2022 to raise money for The Christie Cancer Hospital in Macclesfield

After a difficult Covid start which saw the festival be rescheduled from May to October, Macclesfield’s Party in the Pews is back in it original first bank holiday date taking place April 28th – May 1st with Peter Hook and the light rescheduling their Covid cancelled headline to May 2nd.

Less than a 20 min train journey from Piccadilly Manchester and set in the stunning Christ Church, a redundant Anglican church in the centre of Macclesfield. The church is a Grade II* listed building, still fitted with its original stained glass windows and pews, it’s even featured in the filming of Peaky Blinders. The church also has a special places in the town’s hearts as Ian Curtis used to attend with his Mum as a child.
