We had some guests this evening and while everyone else was busy with work stuff, I was left holding the baby. Quite literally. Our gorgeous 8-month old daughter.
To kill time, I popped on a Volbeat video I’d bookmarked from a while back, their live set from Wacken 2012 (which I have kindly inserted below for your listening and viewing pleasure).
The moment it started, she began singing (in as much as she can) and banging her hands on the table. This lasted through the first song, along with some jumping about. She then sat and occasionally ed in until Barney from Napalm Death came on as a guest vocalist. At which point she went apeshit again.
She’s never even heard Napalm Death before, at least as far as I can think, and sure as hell doesn’t know what Barney looks like.
There is absolutely no doubt at all in my mind that this kid is mine. She’s fucking awesome!
