As maybe mentioned on this page before, Alestorm have released a cover version of the disco “classic” (if anything disco can be described as classic), “In The Navy” by The Village People. It’s being used to push their forthcoming DVD which is chock full of their piratical adventures Down Under in the recent tour.
While the original version was done by five guys in silly outfits who danced around and… erm… were good with colours, I’m sure this doesn’t mean that Alestorm are about to erupt from a closet decorated with skulls and crossbones.
Alestorm’s release is, as far as I can tell, only available on two formats: blue vinyl and gold vinyl! The DVD, Live At The End of the World, can be pre-ordered now.
