First lunchtime of the new working week, in the runup to a long (for some) weekend. What better way to chill out for an hour than with a nice big bunch of rock?

Legions of War – “Out in the Fields”

Legions of War follow up their second album with a five-track covers EP. Each song is covered in their blackened thrash style, including the sample here – Gary Moore’s “Out in the Fields”.

Bridgeville – “Bridge To A Broken Heart”

With their debut album, Aftershock, released on March 18th Bridgeville have just dropped the first single/video from this hard rock  collection.

Long Distance Calling – “Lines”

Long Distance Calling recently announced their new album Trips for release on the 29th April 2016 via InsideOut Music. Now they launch a lyric video for the track “Lines”, the first to be released featuring Norwegian vocalist Petter Carlsen.

Patrick Craig – “True Story”

A bit of folk punk to round things off, with a track from the debut album by Patrick Craig. 29th April sees True Story released with an album release show at the Fighting Cocks in Kingston a few days before on the 23rd.
