Again, so many good ones in the pile that I just had to add an extra post. It’d be a shame for you to miss any of these!
The Pineapple Thief – “In Exile”
A beautiful, chilled-out song that makes you feel like you’re wafting along between the notes, “In Exile” is the first track to be released from forthcoming album Your Wilderness. The album drops on August 12th, unless you’re in when (for some reason) you have to wait until the 19th. Don’t blame me, I just work here.
Excellion – “Unlucky Charms” feat. Fernando of Joliette
Mexico isn’t exactly known as a hotbed of metal, but maybe Excellion can start a trend. Their new EP, Unseen, is out on August 6th and this is the first single/video to be released from it. If this is a sign of things to come, then we’re looking forward to the fill five-track disc.
Revenge Of The Psychotronic Man – “I Wanna Be A Spaceman”
Very reminiscent of an early Lawnmower Deth (only somewhat less shit) are Manchester’s Revenge Of The Psychotronic Man. They’re playing Rebellion, have some other live dates coming up and recently released Colossal Velocity which features gems like this:
In Vain – “King In The North”
Some fast-paced power metal from Spain’s In Vain. The track is from their 2014 album The Little Things That Matter and is based on A Song of Fire and Ice which apparently is a well known book or something.
