Sunday Video Roundup: High Rise, Monster Truck, Incentives, Blues Pills

Yeah, I know today’s meant to be a day of rest but I’m sure Paris won’t be restful in the run-up to a final with the home side involved. Here are a few tracks to get the blood pumping in the run-up!

High Rise – “Piece by Piece”

Up-and-coming UK melodic hardcore band High Rise are proud to present their new video, “Piece by Piece”. The song comes ahead of their new EP Left It For Everything (L.I.F.E.), due September 16 (pre-order it on Bandcamp).

Following on in the vein of Beartooth, Of Mice and Men, Underoath, and more, High Rise’s stamp of metalcore is captivatingly melodic and irresistibly hard-hitting. Ambient overtones with hard hitting riffs accompanied by dual vocal harmonies – this is undeniable High Rise and the foundations of the band to come.

Monster Truck – “Why Are You Not Rocking?”

Filmed live at (a very wet) 2016, Monster Truck crank up their trademark brand of rock and roll in this new video.

Incentives – “Corrode” (ft. Max Chapman of Imprisoned)

“Corrode” is the latest track from Melbourne hardcore/metalcore quintet Incentives. It’s a fast-paced, in your face song with guest vocals provided by the bands friend Max Chapman of fellow hardcore act Imprisoned. The song is the first single off Incentives’ recently released EP Dusk.
