My last day before I’m back at work and we’re still buried in post-Bloodstock work! Here’s a little something to tide you over…
Medevil – “Nightwalk”
British Columbian metal act Medevil release their debut album Conductor of Storms on August 26th. Check out a sample of their wares below.
Beth Hart – “Fire On The Floor”
Beth Hart is on fire. Right now, the Grammy-nominated singer/songwriter is riding a creative tidal wave, firing out acclaimed albums, hooking up with the biggest names in music and rocking the house each night with that celebrated burnt-honey voice. In 2016, the headline news is Beth’s latest album, Fire On The Floor (out 14 October on Provogue/Mascot Label Group): a release that even this fiercely self-critical artist describes as “pretty frickin’ good”.
Heck – “Mope”
Heck have released a unique new music video for “Mope” today, the third video to come from their critically acclaimed debut album, Instructions. Front man Matt ‘Butch’ Reynolds says: “Watch us fight for our lives as we aim perilously to answer the age old question: Can man live and breathe underwater? Man can not.”
The video was directed by Dan Sturgess at a secret location in the middle of England. One shot. Zero chance.
Wakrat – “Generation Fucked”
Tom Commerford’s new Punk Rock trio Wakrat (pronounced wôk•rat) have released a video for their new track “Generation Fucked” declaring Parliament Square, London as their own independent sovereign state in an audacious protest against the political elite. The punk rock video opens with a double decker bus driving around London with #GenerationFucked plastered on the side before descending on Parliament Square to make a bold statement on one of the most politically charged patches of turf in the world.
The band’s debut album it out on November 11th.
