Monday Video Roundup: In Flames, Diamond Head, New Device, LastOneOut

Delayed a little from the usual lunchtime spot as we were expecting a few doozies in. And they arrived…

In Flames – “The End”

Swedish metal visionaries In Flames premiere the music video for their first single from Battles, “The End”. Directed by Patric Ullaeus, the video is infused with pure adrenaline, stepping inside a first-person shooter game and bringing the viewer front and centre of exhilarating action and suspense.

Diamond Head – “All The Reasons You Live”

NWOBM icons Diamond Head have released a video for “All The Reasons You Live”, taken from their self-titled album, which was released in March as the follow-up to 2007’s What’s in Your Head? Guitarist Brian Tatler has this to say:

Out of all the tracks on the album this one is my favourite. We spent some time searching for the right location and found The Hush House at Bentwaters Parks. It was perfect — it was a military base and just echoed the songs feel.

Diamond Head start a UK and Ireland tour later this month, before heading to the US in October.

New Device – “Strung Out”

London based hard rock outfit New Device are making waves with their poppy modern take on what would otherwise been known as classic hard rock. Their amazingly catchy new single “Strung Out” has taken their fans by storm and the band have just released a new music video for the song which you can view here:

LastOneOut – “He’s In A Bad Way”

South West based ‘Polite-Post-Hardcore’ quartet, Lastoneout are back with their new mini album, This Was Never My Story, It’s Yours, featuring 7 tracks capable of filling the huge hole left in the UK scene by Funeral For A Friend’s departure earlier this year. You can pre-order it over on Bandcamp.
