Atropas – “Alone”
Atropas are releasing their new music video as their European tour with Words That Burn begins. The video for the song “Alone” carries a heavy anti-war message, capturing the intense feeling of the whole album. The band have this to say about the video:
We want you to realize what this video is about: Just like the rest of our album Episodes of Solitude, this song is about the horrors of war and we wanted this video to reflect that. There is no sense in killing each other, and in this day and age of people killing each other being omnipresent in our media, we decided to make a statement against exactly that, with our music, our lyrics and now with this new video. “No sense in this whole story, fuck all your grace and glory, I’m but a shadow of who I used to be”. Thanks go to our friend and beautiful model, Nathalie Fontolliet, for being part of this video. This whole thing was filmed and edited by Philipp Smart, who’s also the frontman of our good friends Kill The Unicorn. Thank you very much for your great work.

Xaon – “How We Become Ephemeral Birds”
Swiss Dark Metal band Xaon have released a lyric video for “How We Become Ephemeral Birds”, a song from forthcoming EP Face of Balaam. This, their debut, will be released on October 16th.
Six Time Champion – “Down”
Ahead of the release of EP More Than Me on 14th October, Six Time Champion have unveiled the video for single “Down”. Showing a different side to the band than they believe fans might be accustomed to, the video shot by Ian Coulson can be seen below, with vocalist James Dagg elaborating:
“Down” is about the way we can end up believing that feeling constantly negative is normal, and dragging everyone around you into the same miserable mind set. We let Ian take the reigns on putting together the video, using his own interpretation from the lyrics to reflect the themes and mood of the song.
Ancillotti – “Fight”
Ancillotti’s new album “Strike Back” has just been made available to pre-order in the Pure Steel shop. It’s due for release on September 16th.
