We had such a huge bunch of videos through last week that there were a pile left. Shame let them go to waste…
Wolf Counsel – “Pure As The Driven Snow”
“Pure As The Driven Snow” is the new video from Swiss doom metal band Wolf Counsel. It was filmed and produced by acclaimed visual artist Milena Kancheva. The song is taken from the band’s new studio album, Ironclad, which was released on September 23rd.
Ashes Of My Regrets – “Daydreams”
New Jersey metalcore outfit Ashes Of My Regrets has announced their six-track sophomore EP Caricatures, set for release on November 4th. Along with the announcement, the quintet unveiled their new music video and single “Daydreams,” taken from the forthcoming release. Vocalist Chris Ferland commented on the video saying:
We have been teasing this music video for a while now and a lot of hard work went into the making of it, so we’re extremely excited to finally share it with the world. Alex from Blackwolf Imaging was a blast to work with and does such amazing work. We couldn’t be happier with the way it turned out.
The Funeral Portrait – “The Water Obeyed The Gravity”
Atlanta’s Theatricore unite, The Funeral Portrait (Revival Recordings) consisting of vocalist Lee Jennings, guitarist/vocalist Juergie Sandstorm, guitarist AJ Pekarek, bassist Chris King, and drummer Stephen Danzey, blend elements of rock and roll, heavy metal, and theatricore with a pop sensibility to paint stories of love, loss, anger, and grief onto a canvas of skillfully crafted tunes.
They just announced their brand new album, A Moment of Silence due out December 16, 2016. This will be their debut full length featuring 13 tracks including, “The Water Obeyed The Gravity” which you can view below. Lead guitarist Juergie has this to say about the album:
A Moment of Silence is a story that explores one man’s journey through the afterlife. In this universe there is eternity after death, but there is no god and there is no heaven. This man has been told his entire life that when he died, he would be greeted by God at the gates of heaven. Now he must drift and observe, waiting for the truth to reveal itself.
Attila – “Bulletproof”
Attila have just dropped the video for “Bulletproof” the first clip from their new album Chaos, out November 4th. The “Bulletproof” video was directed by Frankie Nasso (Parkway Drive, Asking Alexandria) who had this to say about working with Attila:
I had no idea what to expect before meeting and working with Attila. What I’ve come to learn is they are one of the most driven and dedicated bands out there today. It was well over 100 degrees when we shot the video down in Tampa. You could literally cook a steak on those metal containers. Those dudes were up nearly two stories high for over eight hours and never complained once.
There’s a reason why Attila is making so much noise right now. It’s because they are relentless and unfuckingstoppable. I know this new album is the start of a very exciting new chapter for them, and I’m proud to be a part of it.
