Saturday Video Roundup: Polary, BlackRain, Carved, Courage My Love

Writing this one in advance as I’ll be otherwise engaged this weekend. Here are four more from our “argh, we have too many videos” pile…

Polary – “Nothing”

Polary’s considered approach to their craft is evident in their debut single “Nothing”, a punchy alt anthem barely contained inside it’s textured skin. Produced by James Bragg (Genghar, Tourists) “Nothing” serves as the perfect introduction to a young band with huge expectations.

BlackRain – “Run Tiger Run”

French rockers BlackRain are pleased to announce the release of their brand new video “Run Tiger Run”, taken from the album Released out earlier this year via UDR Music. Matthieu De La Roche says:

The idea behind this video was to do a collaboration with Remi Gaillard and Gilles Lartigot as we’ve recently discovered we share the same concerns in animal welfare. It was great fun to create a video that sees the mutual collaboration of an internet sensation, a writer and musicians. Activists have much more to tell about the subject and possibly in a much better way we could ever do. We just wanted to express in our own way our feelings about the drama that appears every day in this world: 150 000 000 000 animals are killed just for food each year. Can you imagine that?

Carved – “Lilith”

After streaming the UK premier of their new album recently, here’s a chance to glimpse Carved in action with their new video “Lilith”. The band give more detail:

Lilith is a broken piece of memory in the past of the character, the frozen Lady defeated in Dies Irae, a nostalgic vision of the lost desire.
