Formicarius – “Lake Of The Dead”
Following on from the exciting news of the return of Music For Nations’ Speed Kills series, is a video from one of the acts featuring on the new Volume VII. Speed Kills VII will feature exclusively British bands, highlighting the finest acts that the underground has to offer. Featured alongside the furious demons of Formicarius will be the likes of Voices, Akercocke, The King Is Blind, Nine Covens, Divine Chaos and – forming a link to the past – Acid Reign, who first appeared on Speed Kills IV.
Discussing their inclusion on the bill, Formicarius’ front man, Lord Saunders commented:
We’re overwhelmed to be a part of the Speed Kills legacy! Looking at the calibre of bands featured in the series…and now to be a part of such a collection…it’s a tremendous honour for us!

The Vigil – “All You’ve Done”
Bristol based alt-rockers The Vigil have released their new single All You’ve Done, with an amazing new video directed by the legendary photographer Steve Gullick. Oceans of Slumber – “This Road” (Live in the studio)
Houston progressive metal powerhouse Oceans Of Slumber bring you a live studio performance video for the track “This Road”. The song is taken from their current album Winter which is out now on Century Media Records. The band comments:
So many thoughts. So many words. So much left unsaid. This Road is the closing song on our record and is the completion of a cycle that seems perpetual. Habits and inconsistencies, and our attempt to wrestle with them and make sense of each other as individuals.
On stage is where we do our best work and this live session is a window into capturing that momentum – a place to shed our skin, open up, and evolve. We’ve always got more in us and we plan to do more of these sessions in the future. Hope you like it.
