DevilDriver – “Trust No One”
Southern California’s revered groove metal band DevilDriver released their long awaited, 7th studio album, Trust No One this May via Napalm Records. They just wrapped their North American Tour, including festival appearances and an appearance at Ozzfest Meets Knotfest. It was at the Ozzfest performance where the band was able to shoot a video for the title track of the title track.
Poem – “Weakness”
Greek prog-metallers Poem have unveiled the music video for “Weakness” from their latest release Skein Syndrome. Filmed and directed once again done by Haris Kontouris of HK Visual Creation, as well as Panos Tzortzakis of FubART P&V, the video is a beautiful and atmospherically sad movie-like shoot, featuring the eminent Greek actor, Thanasis Nako.

Landscapes – “Escapist”
Landscapes have recently premiered brand new video for “Escapism”. It’s taken off album the Modern Earth that was released earlier this year via Pure Noise Records. Talking about the video Landscapes said:
The video was filmed and edited by a good friend of the band called Jack Lilley at Sea Legs. It was filmed in Bristol in the basement of an old church on Red Dragon cameras. The choreography was all improv which gave us the ability to do it in one take and leave a raw edge to the final edit.
We felt the depiction of insanity shown through the transparent dark shadows of Shaun worked well with the songs concept and that the rest of the band fell perfectly into place for being those inner demons.
Landscapes will be touring with Counterparts, Expire and Knocked Loose later this month.
Katalina Kicks – “Guns”
Guns presents Katalina Kicks at their loudest, scuzziest and most politically aggrieved yet. Opening with a “cameo” from US President-elect Donald Trump, how could it not be? The Seattle-sized quake of Guns was written after watching Obama’s tearful reaction to the Sandy Hook school shooting. Says Ian:
It’s a song of despair. The most powerful man in the world, and even he can’t stop the gun madness in his own country. And then after the Paris attacks, Trump said that terrifying quote about if people had guns, less people would have been hurt. So we sampled that just to show the absurdity.
The song will be released as a single on December 2nd.
