Sunday Video Roundup: Our Darkest Days, Sepultura, Wild Souls, The Qemists

We got an absolute bumper crop of new songs and videos last week, perhaps as labels try to clear some time before taking the silly season off on holiday. We’ll be right here throughout, so you’ll never be short of a dose of rock or metal as 2017 draws near!

Our Darkest Days – “Ceaseless”

Our Darkest Days have released a music video for their song “Ceaseless”, taken from their latest album A Common Agony, available now on CD/Digital through Bird Attack Records.

Sepultura – “I Am The Enemy”

Brazilian heavy metal icons Sepultura will unleash their studio album, Machine Messiah, on January 13th through Nuclear Blast. In advance, the band have released the lyric video for first digital single, “I Am The Enemy”. Andreas Kisser has a few words:

The song “I Am The Enemy” was one of the last songs we worked on before going to Sweden to record the album, it’s really simple and straight forward with a strong influence of the hardcore scene of the 90’s.

The lyrics talk about ourselves as human beings, with concepts and pre-concepts implanted in our heads through education, religion, the environment and all of our own experiences. We are the problem and the solution, do not blame anything or anyone else but yourself, you are your own enemy. Face yourself, rethink your life and then you’ll have a chance to make a better world for yourself.

We are playing the song live already and the reaction is being amazing, now you all have the chance to listen to the album version, play it loud!

The album can be pre-ordered in many formats on Amazon (links our site): [amazon text=&asin=B01M7Z27U5] / [amazon text=CD&asin=B01MSJJ3ST] / [amazon text=digipak&asin=B01MXEHQMH] / [amazon text=vinyl&asin=B01MSJJ2Y0]

Wild Souls – “Shame On You”

Wild Souls are proud to release their second single video “Shame On You” taken from their new album Game Of Love which was released at the end of October.

The Qemists – “Stepping Stones”

Created entirely from footage shot by the band, crew and fans on tour, the video to “Stepping Stones”, serves as a celebration of a brilliant year for The Qemists, which saw the release of their brilliant album Warrior Sound, festivals and headline dates throughout the UK, Europe and Japan, and tours with the likes of Crossfaith and Enter Shikari.

Released as the B-side to their latest single “Jungle”, “Stepping Stones” is described by the band as “a wake up call to what is happening in the world today, to the fact that we need to stand up and fight against the wrong, as we are not stepping stones.”
