Walls of Jericho – “Forever Militant”
Eight years after The American Dream, Walls of Jericho have found new allies in Napalm Records and released their latest and highly anticipated record No One Can Save You From Yourself in 2016.
Just in time for the European EMP Persistence tour together with Suicidal Tendencies and Agnostic Front to name just a few from this killer line-up, the band released a brand new music video for the track “Forever Militant”.
Lancer – “Follow Azrael”
Lancer unleashed their label debut, Mastery, last Friday via Nuclear Blast Records. Additionally, the band is currently on an extensive European tour with Hammerfall an Gloryhammer which started on Thursday. As if this wasn’t enough, the band has revealed an impressive music video for “Follow Azrael”, featuring actress Julianna Juhász.
Core of iO – “Surrounded”
Already highly praised for their hugely impressive tech metal sound, Core Of iO delve deeper with their breath-taking new video single “Surrounded”, which is lifted from the band’s forthcoming EP Part III: Ganymede, out this February.
Steven J Vertun – “Ghost”
Steven J. Vertun has released his deeply personal, official music video for “Ghost,” the lead single off of his , debut LP Ghost, Shadow and Sun. Vertun has also announced that a minimum of 30% of all music sales revenues will be donated to the organizations St. Judes Hospital and Wounded Warriors. Vertun talks about the song and album:
Many years ago I lost my son, Alexander. He was 4 ½ years old. It was as indescribable time as you can imagine it would be. He was a wonderful, kind little human being on every imaginable level and I loved him more than I could ever fathom to articulate.
There were many years of shadow that followed in the wake of his ing. It took a very long time, years, for me to find any semblance of balance or internal peace. The storms raged internally and non-stop as I tried to find some kind of universal parity or clarity. And still, there were the other children, a wife, a business that needed to be attended to and navigated as the storm raged on.
Ghost, Shadow and Sun as an entire body of work has been the result of a more reflective view, years later. The songs were inspired and written covering an array of my deep personal experiences and my attempt to place these songs in the context of our collective human experience so that the listener can relate the songs to their own journey.
