Tuesday Video Roundup: Home Wrecked, Defences, Volumes, Battle Beast, Air Drawn Dagger, Youth Killed It

Late in the day due to technical issues (i.e. my work network failing to update as quickly as anywhere else on the planet so I couldn’t access the site), here’s today’s half dozen eye-melters…

Home Wrecked – “Anxious Minds Think Alike”

Popped through to us from South Yorkshire pop-punkers Home Wrecked is this thought-provoking video for their song “Anxious Minds Think Alike”. Great tune, brilliant video.

Defences – “Two Steps Back”

Formed in Hertfordshire in 2013, Defences draw on electronic and stadium rock influences to offer a brand of alternative metal distinct from other modern rock acts. “Two Steps Back” is taken from the band’s forthcoming debut album With Might and Main which is set for a May 2017 release.

Volumes – “On Her Mind” (feat. Pouya)

Los Angeles heavy rock five-piece Volumes are thrilled to announce that new album Different Animals will be released 8 June via Fearless Records.

The band has also released a brand new song and video for the album’s second single “On Her Mind” (feat. Pouya), which follows the single “Feels Good”, which was the first track released with new vocalist Myke Terry.

Battle Beast – “Bringer Of Pain”

Finnish heavy metallers, Battle Beast, released their fourth studio record titled Bringer Of Pain, last Friday through Nuclear Blast. Check out the brand new video for the title track, produced by Dark Noise Productions. Bassist Eero Sipilä commented on the video:

Short story: We wanted to do a video which was simply about thrashing around. “Bringer Of Pain” is the fastest and probably the least “commercial”-sounding song on the album, displaying a completely different side as opposed to the previous singles so it seemed like a perfect choice. Empty industrial hall, tons of smoke, tight jeans and lot’s of headbanging – the classic metal video!

Air Drawn Dagger – “The Banshee”

Self-proclaimed ‘Sasscore’ unit Air Drawn Dagger mark their arrival with the release of their new video single, “The Banshee”, which is taken from the alt-rockers’ current EP Ours For The Taking….Theirs For The Breaking, out now on Animal Farm.

Youth Killed It – “(Jean-Claude) Van Mann”

British alternative rockers Youth Killed It have released a new song titled “(Jean-Claude) Van Mann” – the second to be taken from their debut album Modern Bollotics, due out on 12th May 2017 via Rude Records.
