Thursday Video Roundup: Slyde, SyStr, Drugs Delaney, Power Trip, Killing Addiction, Plugs of Apocalypse

Thursday rolls in and today’s post catches up on some great stuff we couldn’t fit in at the start of the week. Wrap those lugs round this noise-some sextet…

Slyde – “Divide”

Canadian melodic proggers Slyde have released their new video for “Divide” taken from their EP Back Again, out now. Driven by the clean vocals of frontman Nathan Da Silva and the powering keyboards of Sarah Westbrook, Back Again is a fitting return to form from this beguiling four-piece, following a two-year hiatus.

SyStr – “Tous les cris les SOS”

SyStr are a French group that have covered the Daniel Balavoine song “Tous les cris les SOS”, I confess not one I’ve heard before. However, this is a decent electro-rock number in its own right.

Drugs Delaney – “Changing of the Guard”

Alternative rock band Drugs Delaney have premiered their latest video for single “Changing of the Guard” off their record Black Knight Satellite.

Power Trip – “Executioner’s Tax (Swing of The Axe)”

Have you experienced Power Trip? Their new video for hit single “Executioner’s Tax (Swing of the Axe)” takes us front and centre, into the eye of what is guaranteed to be a perfect storm time and time again. Directed by their own Andy Capper, the video uses footage captured from a spirited hometown show in Dallas.

Killing Addiction – “Cult Of Decay”

Florida death metal veterans Killing Addiction have released a lyric video for “Cult of Decay”, a song from the Shores of Oblivion EP.

Plugs Of Apocalypse – “Burn Everything I Love”

Italian alternative/metal act Plugs Of Apocalypse has revealed a new video for “Burn Everything I Love”. The track is the first single taken from their album, available soon.
