I’ve got a looooong day today, so I know I’m pausing to soak in some nice music. You should me. Come on in, the metal’s warm and the rock’s bubbling nicely…
Pallbearer – “I Saw The End”
Little Rock, Arkansas-based ruminant progressive doom quartet, Pallbearer, have released a brand new video for single “I Saw The End”. The video was directed and produced by the acclaimed Zev Deans of Panorama Programming.
“I Saw The End” is the imposing opening track for record Heartless – a wistful and serious plea for us all to take heed of the warning signs around us, else our dismal fate be sealed.
Little Hurricane – “OTL”
While a little off the Moshville Times beaten musical track, I just had to include this video from Little Hurricane because it’s visually stunning. Let the simple beats of the music wash over you as the story hits home. “OTL” is taken from their new album Same Sun Same Moon, out April 14th.
Voyager – “Ascension”
Australian pop sensibilities combined with modern progressive heaviness – the cult force that is Voyager are back with their 6th album, entitled Ghost Mile.
Dunderbeist – “Tvilja”
Dunderbeist have released their second single and lyric video titled “Tvilja”. Their EP, also named Tvilja, is coming out on March 10th.
Kilkovec – “Somerset Cottage”
Hampshire altpunk trio Kilkovec have released a lyric video for their angsty yet anthemic song “Somerset Cottage”. The song is the second single to be released from their latest EP Plunge which was independently released by the band at the end of January.
You can catch them live in March:
- 11.03 – Sanctuary Live, Basingstoke
- 15.03 – Tooting Tram and Social, London
- 16.03 – Sakura, Reading
Persefone – “Living Waves (feat. Paul Masvidal)”
The progressive metal monster a.k.a. Persefone is releasing “Living Waves”, the second video from their highly-acclaimed 5th album Aathma which was released worldwide on February 24th. The song features a very special guest appearance from the legendary Paul Masvidal (Cynic, ex Death).
