Sunday Video Roundup: Aftermoon, Turncoat, Charm Designer, Vampire, Brightlight City, Rosen Bridge

It seems the record industry made the most of the nice weather yesterday (or they were all out at Mosh Against Cancer in Coventry) as we had a nice, quiet day email-wise. As such today is a partial mop-up to try and catch up on last week’s video releases before it starts all over again tomorrow!

Aftermoon – “Cold”

Aftermoon are proud to announce the release of the official video for the song “Cold”, taken from their album Phase One (Wormholedeath Records).

Turncoat – “American Dream”

Michigan hardcore outfit Turncoat has released a new music video for their latest single “American Dream”. The video has a 90s home video-like vibe of the band’s home town showing raw footage of the Detroit area. The single comes from their Eulogy Recordings, 2016 self-titled EP and was recently selected to be on Metal Hammer’s New Noise compilation album.

Charm Designer – “Never After”

Colombian doom-gothic metal 4-piece Charm Designer released their first music video “Never After” on Friday. The clip for “Never After” was shot in their hometown by local director Gustavo Carvajal, and it portrays both the concept of a multiple characterization of mortality and Gustavo’s bet on a “fashion film” inspired visual aesthetics and the interplay of light and shade.

“Never After” is the second single from Charm Designer’s 2016 album Everlasting, which was produced and recorded by Waldemar Sorychta (Tiamat, Samael, Moonspell, Lacuna Coil, etc.).

Vampire – “He Who Speaks”

Two more weeks before Vampire’s impatiently awaited new album With Primeval Force will be released! In the meantime the band have launched a new video for the track “He Who Speaks”.

Brightlight City – “Past/Future”

UK rock five-piece Brightlight City have released a video for their latest single “Past/Future”, coinciding with the release of their new EP Our Future’s Not Dead – out now via Undead Collective Records.

Rosen Bridge – “Dreamcatcher”

North Wales metalcore quintet Rosen Bridge have unveiled the video for lead single “Dreamcatcher”. Vocalist Antony Jones said of the piece:

To reflect the meaning of the song, we wanted to capture the energy and idea of what it means to be in band and to give people a good idea of our live performance. Our aim is to always give an emotively driven show and we feel VideoInk captured that very well.

The single is taken from the forthcoming EP of the same name, which is set for self-release on 12th May.
