As black metal heavyweights Dimmu Borgir gear up for the release of double live album Forces Of The Northern Light, they’ve upped the hype following the release of the epic “Progenies Of The Great Apocalypse”. Accompanying them onstage are the Norwegian Radio Orchestra and the Schola Cantorum Choir. It can be seen below.
As for Forces Of The Northern Night, fans will be treated to two different live shows including their concert in Oslo (from which the clip of “Progenies Of The Great Apocolypse” is taken from), in addition to their entire Wacken set, this time accompanied by the Czech National Choir, amassing just shy of 100 musicians to compile the most epic of performances.
Those already released from the discs include Gateways (live from Oslo) as well as Wacken’s set closer Mourning Palace, in addition to three trailers including interviews and live footage. Trailer 1 can be seen here, trailers 2 and 3 are available on the same YouTube .
Forces Of The Northern Light is out on April 28th via Nuclear Blast.
