First Signs Of Frost ink deal with Basick Records – Forthcoming EP details revealed

As of earlier today, proggy tech rockers First Signs Of Frost and Basick Records are in partnership with The Shape Of Things To Come due to drop on the 11th of August. This will be the band’s first album since 2009’s Atlantic prior to an elongated six year hiatus, broken in 2015.

With the EP coming later in the year, a new single “Look Alive Sunshine” has surfaced. The video for the new track can be found below featuring their hallmark bells and whistles.

Having been through the rings of line up changes and the chaos that arises from sharing stages with the likes of Architects, SikTh and Enter Shikari, the band are back with unbridled ambition and energy. Pre-orders of The Shape Of Things To Come are now available on Basick Records’ website.

On the past, present and future, frontman Daniel Lawrence says:

Over the past two years we have been quietly and solidly working away to bring something different to the table, a record that not only reflects who we are and the history of the band, but more importantly showcases our future. The Shape Of Things To Come is as poignant an EP title as possible, it is the first of many releases we have planned in the near future and we cannot wait to share this with fans old and new. We hope you enjoy this record as much as have bringing it to life.

The Shape Of Things To Come is out on August 11th via Basick Records
