American Caskets – “Daydreamer”
I don’t have much information on this one, but it dropped recently and is an interesting fusion of post-metal and progressive melodies.
Vintersea – “Skies Set Ablaze”
Melodic metal artists Vintersea have released the music video “Skies Set Ablaze” off their debut album The Gravity of Fall.
“Skies Set Ablaze” contains strong themes of human conflict, represented here by Fire and Ice. Karl Whinnery, the producer of the video, showcases a color palette and variety of shots that set Ice against Fire as the protagonist feels the weight of society’s collapse, ultimately deciding that our world may be better off devoid of life.
As December Falls – “Keep Dreaming”
The importance of perseverance, self belief and never giving up has never been more relevant than it is in today’s world. These themes and more are at the forefront of As December Falls new single “Keep Dreaming…”, which is out now.
In a time where it is finally becoming more acceptable for people to discuss their issues, fears, and anxieties, “Keep Dreaming…” carries a message of hope, believing in yourself and that your life has meaning. Even if it doesn’t happen overnight and you have to work hard for it, if you believe in yourself you can achieve anything.
“Keep Dreaming…” introduces a new arsenal of sounds for the Nottingham based four piece, who have gone from strength to strength since forming in 2014. You can grab the track, plus B-Side “…You’re Giving Up” on iTunes now.
Deadly Inscription – “Cemetery Wind”
Scottish metal mob Deadly Inscription have unleashed the sickness with brutal new video “Cemetery Wind”. Now the virus is out in the wild and it’s coming for you! With a ferocity matched only with the track itself, Deadly Inscription are intent on infecting you with their apocalyptic viral onslaught.
“Cemetery Wind” features an intro and guitar work that gives a nod to the legendary Gothenburg Sound mixed with a fresh British twist, combined with an all out assault on the senses courtesy of Stuart Carlin’s vocals and a truly ferocious rhythm section. It is a track that will give the world a taste of everything this hard hitting band has to offer.
Press to MECO – “If All Your Parts Don’t Make A Whole”
Also featured at Amplified the other week, British alt-rock trio Press to MECO have released their new single “If All Your Parts Don’t Make A Whole”, the first track to be taken from the band’s forthcoming album Here’s To The Fatigue out on 17th November 2017.
The band explains:
The song is about having a quarter life crisis, feeling like there’s something wrong with you and being troubled by all the unknown in life. The verses are a person breaking down from these issues whilst the chorus is a consoling voice, saying that everyone has the same feelings and to not dwell on the questions you’ll never have the answers to.
