Another half-dozen video and aural treats for your weekend…

Forged in Black – Sinner Sanctorum

The UK’s rising stars of heavy metal – Forged in Black – release the promo video from their forthcoming EP, Sinner Sanctorum. Produced once again by the legendary Chris Tsangarides (Black Sabbath, Thin Lizzy, Judas Priest etc) who also worked on their previous EP Fear Reflecting Fear, Sinner Sanctorum simply towers over all that Forged In Black have released before. All the power and fury of thrash, the atmosphere, grandeur and emotion of doom and the boundless energy of power metal are gathered in and poured into the burning elixir of Forged In Black’s unique take on the glorious metal art.

Republica – “The Maze”

Republica release a new music video, “The Maze”, as an appetizer for the album Brutal & Beautiful. Rhythm wise “The Maze” is a mix of tribal Brazilian grooves and these rhythm styles relate to the cultural roots of the band. It’s a way to show the possibilities to approach rock and roll with new perspectives. The idea behind these grooves is to give the song more energy and highlight the riffs and lyrical insights.

Beth Hart – “Let’s Get Together”

Beth Hart is back with a brand new video for the spring-heeled tune “Let’s Get Together”, taken from her critically acclaimed album Fire On The Floor. Following her sold-out and critically acclaimed November 2016 UK tour, and the overwhelming response to her latest studio album, Fire On The Floor, Grammy nominated singer-songwriter, Beth Hart will be returning to the UK for 3 dates in October/November before returning with her band to embark on what is going to be her biggest UK concert of her career –London’s prestigious Royal Albert Hall on Friday 4th May 2018.

Märvel – “All Over the News”

Swedish hard rock sensations Märvel have revealed the video for their new single “All Over The News”. The catchy track is taken from their album At The Sunshine Factory and is highly recommended for fans of Thin Lizzy, Kiss and The Hellacopters.

Tarot Rats – “When We Were Young”

Taken from their EP, “When We Were Young”, Tarot Rats set out with one mission: to write, record and perform the music they love – vintage soul, rock, and blues. With their unique take on the blues-rock genre, the Rats offer an eclectic mix of full-on, over-driven riffs combined with stripped-back, soulful acoustic melodies: one foot firmly in the heart of the blues era, the other striding forward – keeping it alive, keeping it fresh and bringing the music to a brand new generation. The Tarot Rats have announced their new EP 3.0, to be released on September 22nd 2017.

The Rah’s – “Time is Now”

Scottish band, The Rah’s will catch you from the first second with their new hard-hitting, ranting rock – “The Time Is Now”. The Rah’s are a 5 piece indie rock band from Prestonpans, a small seaside town on the outskirts of Edinburgh. Off the back of the single release the band embarked on a mini UK tour over a 6 week period with a sell-out homecoming gig in their native in Edinburgh as their last show on the tour. They are now back with their new single “The Time Is Now”, a serious attitude track that grips you from the very first note.
