Video Roundup: Ryan Hamilton & Tony Wright, Young States, Tan.Trum, Chastain, Hollywood Undead, Chris Blackwood

Once again attempting to pick a small number of videos from a great pile of daily awesomeness…

Ryan Hamilton & Tony Wright – “Everytime I’m Kissing You”

OK, it’s a country cover but Volbeat can get away with it so why not this duo? We love Ryan Hamilton around here, and we’re huge Terrorvision fans (as well as being more than just a little impressed with Tony‘s solo material). So when the two got together to record this Transatlantic version of Johnny Horton’s original, it was going to be something special. Of course it’s miserable… it’s a country song!

Young States – “Over It By Now”

I had this on my shortlist the other day, but for some reason didn’t include it. Making up for it now, though – a new track from Norwich-based four-female rockers some time back now. Their new EP, Past Truths | Present Lies will be out September 29th. Glad to have them back.

Tan.Trum – “Infatuation”

Tan.Trum are the actual band playing in the video – which they filmed and edited themselves. Yes, they’re all annoyingly, infuriatingly young and talented. “Infatuation” is the second single from their latest EP TAK3E.

Chastain – “All Hail”

There are actually two new videos from Chastain, both from the  We Bleed Metal 17 EP. European CD and worldwide digital release date is August 25. US CD release date September 1. Vinyl release date is September 22. Oh, and here’s the other video so you don’t miss out.

Hollywood Undead – “California Dreaming”

The number five holds a deep significance. We have five senses. Five points adorn a star. Five represents man in theology. For the five of Hollywood Undead—Johnny 3 Tears, J-Dog, Charlie Scene, Funny Man, and Danny – the digit perfectly encapsulates their fifth full-length offering – FIVE. Fans can pre-order the new album right now.

The band have just released the first single/video from their forthcoming album called “California Dreaming”.

Chris Blackwood – “The Quiet Elude”

We started country, so we’ll finish country(ish) with this new one from Chris Blackwood. OK, it’s a little more skiffle with twangy guitars, but it’s catchy enough! Blackwood, the self-titled album, is self-released this Friday, 11th August, and you can watch the new video here below.
