Been a little under the weather the last couple of days so had a stupidly long lie which means I a) feel better if tired, but b) got naff all done on the site. So here’s a quick roundup of some superb new tracks we got wind of today to make it all up to you…
Trivium – “The Sin And The Sentence”
Trivium have returned with a new track titled “The Sin And The Sentence”, the first new music from the group since their celebrated 2015 LP, Silence in the Snow. Trivium will return with a new album this Autumn, with more details to be announced in the coming weeks. In the meantime, you can stream the track on most popular services.
Dan Reed Network – “Infected”
Dan Reed Network are pleased to announce they will be special guest on Extreme’s December 2017 UK tour. The O2 pre-sale starts Wednesday, 2 August at 9am, followed by a Live Nation pre-sale on Thursday 3 August at 9am. Tickets go on sale to the general public from on Friday 4 August at 9am from the usual places. Reminder for Glasgow fans, that if you get tickets from the ABC box office (not Academy) for cash then there’s no booking fee. Dates are:

Grift – “Den stora tystnaden”
Grift, the outlet of Swedish multi-artist Erik Gärdefors, returns with its second album Arvet (“The Heritage”) on September 8th. Two years has ed since the critically acclaimed debut album Syner (Visions, 2015) saw its first daylight. With Arvet Mr Gärdefors successfully continues to create something unique, emotive and captivating.
Kublai Khan – “The Hammer”
Newest Rise Records signees Kublai Khan have dropped the video for the new song “The Hammer”. The song will live on the band’s new album Nomad, out September 29. Pre-orders are now available.
The band will also be playing this year’s “Never Say Die Tour” this November with Emmure and Chelsea Grin. You can see Kublai Khan at the following dates:

Downfall – “The Torture”
Old school thrash/death metal band Downfall have revealed a new playthrough video for “The Torture”. The track is the second single is taken from the new album Punishment For The Infidels, available now via Memorial Records.
Obituary – “Sentence Day”
Tampa Bay Florida Death Metal Godfathers Obituary have shared the official live video accompanying “Sentence Day” off the band’s self-titled full-length album. The video was filmed in stunning 4k by Magnetar Studios at several locations on the band’s headlining tour with Gruesome earlier this year.
