Just dropped into the YooTyoobz is the new video from Blackfinger, “Afternow”. Wrap your lugs around its fuzzy doom riffness below.
Blackfinger features the vocal talents of Eric Wagner (ex-Trouble), ed this time by guitarist Terry Weston (Dream Death and Penance). The band shot the video themselves in their rehearsal room, with additional footage added and edited by Rafael Ortega (Helsott, Ayreon, Subterranean Masquerade).
“Afternow” is lifted from the band’s new album When Colors Fade Away, which was released last week.
Eric has this to say about the song:
I think “Afternow” is about wondering why things are the way they are when they don’t really need to be. Maybe if we could only catch a glimpse of where we came from, it might be enough to change the future. (Wishful, I’m afraid.)
