Diablo Blvd – “Summer Has Gone”
Belgian rock outfit Diablo Blvd have just premiered a new music video for “Summer Has Gone”, taken from the highly awaited forthcoming album, Zero Hour. The album will hit stores on September 22th, 2017 via Nuclear Blast.
Pretty Little Enemy – “Collide”
With the release of their brand new EP, Second Load (which MarkW reviewed), now just over a week away, Somerset party starting rockers Pretty Little Enemy have a brand new music video to share with you all. Pretty Little Enemy’s new single is called “Collide”, and the accompanying music video is a perfect introduction to the personality and style of the band. Fun, entertaining and ever so slightly in your face (in a good way), “Collide” is a track packed full of everything you’d want to hear from Pretty Little Enemy.
Vuur – “My Champion – Berlin”
Anneke van Giersbergen’s new band Vuur are set to release their debut album, In This Moment We Are Free – Cities on the 20th October 2017. Now they are pleased to reveal the official video for new single “My Champion – Berlin”. Anneke comments:
This song is the opening track of our debut album and it serves as a kind of master of ceremonies. It’s both heavy and melodic, it showcases the technical abilities of the band, but you can still sing along to it. That’s basically the kind of album I wanted to make. Our guitar player Jord Otto wrote the song and collaborated with producer Joost van den Broek to finalise it. I wrote the lyrics and vocal melodies. This song is about Berlin after World War II. The goddess on the Berlin Victory Column was raised to commemorate military victories, but in the song the city speaks to her and is asking her for help to overcome troubled times. I wanted to make a performance video, one that presents the band as a group that is about music and plays with their heart and soul. That’s what we are and I am really proud of this band.
Broken Hope – “Outback Incest Clan”
Chicago’s Broken Hope are currently on the road with Cattle Decapitated. In celebration of the tour, the band have released the official video for “Outback Incest Clan”. Taken from the band’s latest album Mutilated and Assimilated, it’s a beast of a track, with a suitably dark video and back story to boot.
Seeker – “Welcome Death”
Sixty-one seconds deep, Seeker’s relentless cinder block of nuclear charged metal rears its filthy head again, in the form of “Welcome Death”, the fourth video from the trio’s latest opus Loss, available now.
Threshold – “Stars and Satellites”
UK progressive metal quintet Threshold release their colossal double concept album Legends Of The Shires today via Nuclear Blast. The 11th studio album by the band features old / new vocalist Glynn Morgan, who lent his vocals to the band’s 1994 release, Psychedelicatessen. In contrast to the more straight-ahead heaviness and traditional structures of 2014’s For The Journey, the new album is an irable exercise in flexing creative muscles and revelling in exploratory flair. To celebrate the release, Threshold have unleashed a lyric video for new track, “Stars And Satellites”.
