Pain – “Absinthe – Phoenix Rising”
Swedish metal force Pain, led by multi-instrumentalist and producer Peter Tägtgren (Hypocrisy, Lindemann), have released an official video for the song “Absinthe-Phoenix Rising”, taken from their multi-chart breaking album Coming Home. The animated video was produced by The Royal Melbourne Institute of Technology in Australia. Producers Aaron McLoughlin & Simon Norton spent around 3000 working hours with their team to create the film.
Dark Signal – “Build You Back”
Sacramento based rock/metal band Dark Signal are setting out to challenge expectations with their bold, debut single and lyric video, “Build You Back.” The video was directed/edited by guitarist Matt Thomas. He has this to say about the track:
This song is the embodiment of what our band has been through these last two years as we stepped back from our former band and brand to break the walls down that we built and create something new. This, as our first song, leads the way for Dark Signal, describing exactly how we have felt these last two years. Now we are here to build back what we once had, only better.
’68 – “Eventually We All Win”
Atlanta-based rock duo ‘68 is excited to unveil their new video for “Eventually We All Win” off their latest full-length album Two Parts Viper. The video, directed by Oleg Rooz, is a montage of footage taken while on their headlining world tour earlier this year.
The Five Hundred – “Ghost In The Flames”
Following their recent announcement of ing the Incendia Music roster, Nottingham based metal outfit The Five Hundred are set to obliterate the scene with their blend of crushingly euphoric and infectious metal.
Big things are on the horizon for the Nottingham-Gibraltar quintet who are raring to set their career ablaze. The band have just launched a new music video for their track “Ghost In The Flames”, which is taken from their second EP release The Veil, out now.
Invisible Mirror – “Frozen River”
Invisible Mirror are a hard and heavy metal band with a combination of stadium choruses and heavy guitar riffs. A unit playing songs with strong melodies, impulsive drums and groovy bass lines, mixed with progressive sound elements.
“Frozen River” comes from their debut album On The Edge of Tomorrow, released earlier this year.
Lonely The Brave – “Things Will Matter”
Lonely The Brave have been deliberately quiet these last few months, working on new material and reassessing what has come before. This has been all the more noticeable because before then, they had never stopped: last year alone saw them secure a no.1 on the rock chart with their second LP Things Will Matter, sell-out a headline tour and play main on a hugely successful European tour with Biffy Clyro, followed with a thematically linked series of EP’s which have shown the sheer depth of strong material that was available to them around that second record.
They follow a theme of insular reinvention again now on a full Redux album version of Things Will Matter. Melody and heart will always be at the centre of what they do, but Lonely The Brave are here to prove once again that they will always continue to do things that other bands can’t.
Opening with the extremely personal title track “Things Will Matter”, a live favourite which was not featured on the album of the same name, frontman David Jakes tackles his relationship with his father and addresses mortality in an emotive song that finally sees a studio version.
