Words That Burn – “When We’re Forgotten” single and video release

Words That Burn hail from Dundalk, Ireland and are a band that I have followed for quite some time now. The reason for this is simple and that reason is that Words That Burn are worthy of everyone’s attention due to their slab of breath taking alternative/melodic metal in the vein of Architects, Slipknot and Killswitch Engage to name a few. Having witnessed the band live, they are serious and in your face but at the same time, they are having the time of their lives and having plenty of fun with it.

Words That Burn is everything my musical taste (death metal) hates but I can’t help myself but to love these guys. This is what metal is all about. Discovering new bands and ing in on their journey, seeing them grow and expand from plying their trade in their local scene to now working on their second album and touring Europe. After their critically acclaimed debut album Regret is for the Dead, Words That Burn are today releasing their new single as a stopgap to their next album through WormholeDeath Records/Aural Music. We are delighted to share this video with you of their new single entitled “When We’re Forgotten”.

“When We’re Forgotten” is number one in the iTunes Metal Singles chart. This kicks everything the band has ever recorded into touch and I urge you all to buy from iTunes and the band. Like and follow this band immediately as you will never regret it! I shall leave Words That Burn to have the last say about this new single and video.

WTB are super excited to share our video for “When We’re Forgotten” with you. It is our first time working with Carl Quinn and the rest of the guys in Empty Horoscope Media.

He is by far one of the most professional, dedicated and easy to work with people we have dealt with. Even though this was his baby he kept us in the loop throughout the entire process.  From initial concept, we knew that this video a big task – the production was huge, there were a lot of people involved, multiple locations, pyro & special effects – so we are absolutely stoked with the end result.

This song is a snapshot of the new direction that we are taking as a band so we wanted to come out guns blazing. We wanted something visually striking to compliment the song.

I think we got that!
