Some new music videos from across the week to get your weekend started right!
Bloodred Hourglass
Bloodred Hourglass have today released the video for their first single “Waves of Black” from their record Godless. Scheduled for release on June 28th 2019, Godsend is a ten-tracks relentless melodic death metal record, in perfect Finnish tradition: fast and hard-hitting, whilst creating an almost epic soundscape. The band will be playing at Bloodstock Festival on the Sophie Lancaster stage so be sure to catch them there!
Callejon
Callejon recently dropped the brand new video to the title track of their latest album Hartgeld Im Club. The track features female rap artists Pilz & Antifuchs and the video shows footage of the first leg of their tour from earlier this year. The album Hartgeld Im Club was released on 4th January 2019 and entered the official German album charts on #5! Check out the official video below.
The Outsider
Symphonic death metal one-man project The Outsider has just released a new lyric video for the track “Ancient Beast of the Apocalypse”, which features guest vocals by Snowy Shaw (former member of bands like Therion, King Diamond, Dimmu Borgir and Sabaton). The song, which is the title-track of the band’s latest EP, is heavily inspired on the cosmic horror literature by H.P. Lovecraft, as well as the visuals of the stunning lyric video, and it’s already available in all streaming platforms. The Outsider is currently recording his sophomore album, which is set to be released before this fall. Check out the official video below.
A Primitive Evolution
A Primitive Evolution have recently released a new video for the song “Close Your Eyes” taken from their most recent release Becoming. Formed in 2007, they have developed at their own pace, creating a constantly evolving soundtrack utilising their brand of dark industrial rock. Recorded at their own Desolation Studios, Becoming includes collaborations with writer/producer Ian D’Sa (Billy Talent) and engineer Kenny Luong (Metric). Raw and visceral yet displaying soul and beauty, the 13 tracks that comprise Becoming blur the boundaries between rock, metal and electronica and show off an array of influences that include Nine Inch Nails, The Cure, Tool, The Prodigy, Ministry, Radiohead, Alice In Chains and Guns N’ Roses. Check out the official video for the track.
Chaos Magic
Chaos Magic have today released the brand new lyric video for the title track of their album Furyborn. Having issued the song “Like Never Before” as a single a month ago, its follow-up is the title track, which features a co-vocal performance by Tom S. Englund of Evergrey. Comments vocalist Cerina Nix:
We wrote it specifically for Tom’s voice and style, without even knowing if he would work with us. Thankfully, he liked it and said yes! We celebrated that day and it was an even bigger celebration when we heard the results.
Furyborn is scheduled for release on the 14th June 2019 via Frontiers music.
