Jon Cohen Ex got in touch to tell us about an interesting experimental release created this year on a very low budget. The music (from the video at least) has a definite 70s feel to it and is well worth a listen, and not just for the novelty value of how it was produced. The album itself pushes past the boundaries of what we usually cover, but we just had to appreciate Jon’s creativity. We’ll let Jon himself tell you more…
My name is Jon and December 18th, I just released a new album entitled Lorem Ipsum on Sugar Gator Records, distributed in North America through Fontana North and Cadence Music. Lorem Ipsum is the first electronic pop album of its kind in Canada, recorded almost entirely inside my iPhone. The eight tracks are an eclectic mix of musical genres including electronic, pop and danse.
