Video Roundup: Dordeduh / NorthTale / La Fin / Plastic Tears / Hardwicke Circus / Dishpit

As always, more videos in than we can share so you’ll have to make do with this lucky half dozen…

Dordeduh

Dordeduh have released a spectacular video for the track “Desferecat” (“Unchained”), which is the first single taken from their sensational forthcoming album Har (“Gifted”), which has been scheduled for release on May 14, 2021. The Romanian metal pioneers have based the imagery of their clip on the arcana XII “Le pendue” (“The Hangman”) of the famous Tarot de Marseille.

The album is now available for pre-order.

NorthTale

In August 2019, power metal newcomers NorthTale released their successful debut album Welcome To Paradise and recently announced their new vocalist: the 30 year old Guilherme Hirose from Sao Paulo, Brazil. Today, the band is happy to reveal a new clip of the song “Bring Down The Mountain” with Guilherme Hirose on vocals.

“After getting such amazing on our new singer, you asked us to hear him singing some of the songs from Welcome To Paradise. Based on your and your votes, we present you the first video of Guilherme Hirose singing “Bring Down The Mountain”. That being said… just wait to hear him on our new album”, comments guitarist Bill Hudson.

La Fin

In of their critically acclaimed debut album The Endless Inertia, released last October through Argonauta Records, Italy’s extreme post-metal act (ffo Gojira, Btbam, Vildhjarta) La Fin has shared an evocative, new music video. “Hypersleep” tackles the main theme of the album by focusing on the concept of self-awakening from a status of oblivious idleness far too common in today’s world.

To represent this on screen, La Fin put on stage a subject which is not only close to their hearts but an important issue to stand up for, seizing also the opportunity to raise awareness for animal welfare by showcasing the unconditional bond between human and dog in an epic way.

Plastic Tears

Finnish Hard Rockers Plastic Tears proudly unleash the single and video for “Riot Zone”, a track taken from their album Anthems For Misfits due for release on 26th March via Wormholedeath Records worldwide.

Riot Zone is a fast loud punky rock song about standing up for yourself, freedom, peace and fighting the injustices of the world. About being the underdog, finding your way and standing up for your rights. It’s a song that makes you wanna raise your fist, bang your head and pogo like crazy! The lyrics are meant to be uplifting rock ‘n’ roll rebellion and defiance, with a slight socially critical undertone. So don’t take life too seriously and strengthen yourself through the power of rock ‘n’ roll! Plastic Tears new album Anthems For Misfits is released this year through Wormholedeath Records.

PS. Plastic Tears condemns all violence and violent riots.

Hardwicke Circus

“If you drive into Carlisle,” says Hardwicke Circus frontman Jonny Foster, “the first roundabout you’ll hit is Hardwicke Circus. Whenever we’d travel anywhere, I’d say, ‘We’re from Carlisle,’ and the response would be, ‘Where the fuck is Carlisle?’ But there are no excuses now.”

Debut single “Walking On Broken Glass” is a distillation of the bands unique sound. Infectious melodies laid over classic sounding rock n roll, but infused with a true punk spirit. The single features a video shot by the band themselves in lockdown.

Dishpit

Montreal trio Dishpit released their latest single “This Time” today with a brutally fun and frigid video. Led by vocalist/guitarist Nora Kelly and bassist Jed Stein, Dishpit brings an attitude of feminist absurdism to post-punk/grunge in order to take up as much space as possible in a male dominant genre.
