TDW
Fans of progressive rock/metal and crazy music videos filled with weird ideas can rejoice, as TDW launched the third music video for the song “Another Choice Another Universe” today on Youtube!
This song was inspired by TDW fan Jim Wilkinson who wanted me to write a song about parallel universes and how every choice we make can lead to a completely new world of it’s own. I decided to take that premise and imagine a parallel universe in which I would be a weird animated lion cartoon character flying around my hometown of Amersfoort, singing about the many possibilities that parallel universes can bring. I wanted this video to be just as crazy as the premise and I think I succeeded!
Everlust
Everlist is a gothic rock / melodic metal band from Riga, Latvia. Their music can be described as melancholic and romantic. “Alone” is a track taken from the Everlust album Diary Of Existence out via Wormholedeath worldwide.
The song is about an existential crisis, when the person assumes that he/she is a very small moment in time. Also this song is about unanswered feelings. Nothing hurts more than being ignored by the person you love and crave attention. The video shows Kate feeling abandoned by the other band and the parallel story tells us how destructive these feelings can be.

Devoured Elysium
The Turkish brutal death metallers strike the balance with expert proficiency; slams and serpentine riffs are presented in equal measure, extreme care given to not let either overstay their welcome at any given moment. I’m a fan of the cleaner production here as well, letting the guitar tone carry all the grime while the overall polished sound lets the instruments all stand out. It’s as brutal as it is technical, and to put it succinctly, it bangs.
“Deus ex Machina” reflects the most aggressive aspects of our second album, Void Grave. Our single is about the people who are waiting to be saved by a saviour. As you know, “Deus ex Machina” is a cinema cliché and represents a miraculous escape from difficult situations. In this song, we are talking about people who try to show the lies among the heavenly salvation and magic miracles.

Malacoda
Malacoda have released a new video of the keyboard solo in their brand new track “Beaten Path” which was performed by Gabriel Guardiola of Immortal Guardian.
When we worked on this EP this song was missing something. Jeramie had the idea to reach out to his buddy in Immortal Guardian to rip a keyboard solo on this track and Gabriel’s performance really brought this song to another level! We haven’t had keyboard solos since 2016’s Ritualis Aeterna, so it was cool hearing one again on a Malacoda track!
