Crashtime
Almost a year after their first full-length album Valley Of The Kings, the Swiss old school metallers Crashtime release their new single/video “Black Tied Deceiver” today.
Ian Arkley (My Silent Wake)
Ian Arkley, noted for his incredible work with the likes of Seventh Angel, Ashen Mortality, Guillotine Dream and of course the magnificent My Silent Wake, released his second solo album, Two, through Opa Loka Records last month.
Perhaps the most powerful and affecting track on Two is “Der Fund”, or the discovery, a song which can reconnect the listener with something utterly essential, giving sustenance to the spirit. Arkley has now released a superb video to accompany “Der Fund”, full of imagery which helps to tell the story inherent within the music.

Apeiron Bound
Prog metal band Apeiron Bound have released a video for their song “Eleutheromania” featuring renowned guitarist Angel Vivaldi. The track is from their new album Multiplicity which will be released via Layered Reality Productions on August 26th, 2022.
Assimilator
Assimilator, formerly Death On Fire, have unleashed a horror inspired video for their new single “Burial Hymn”. The quartet’s brutal sound manifesting through the new incarnation of the band brings a grimier, American thrash edge.
The band comments:
The video is inspired by a “B movie” horror idea. It was a lot of fun to make and follows the idea of lies manifesting to a physical form, hunting, and swallowing the falsifier. Worst part was getting drug through the mud and having it in every crevice and crack. Totally worth it though.
